Acura uses the Honda Service Express or SIS for factory service information. This includes diagnostic troubleshooting guides as well as technical specifications. Our tooling allows us to interact with Acura vehicles and monitor the onboard systems so that we can verify the vehicle is operating as desired. If we notice any abnormalities, we can make the adjustments or repairs necessary to return the vehicle to "fresh-off-the-line" performance.
COMMON ISSUES
A common issue that affects Acura is excessive oil consumption. For the most part, this is an issue that is best addressed by regular maintenance and conservative driving. The V6 engines from 2008-2014 have been reported to use several quarts of oil between oil changes. As an Acura owner, you'll want to know whether the oil consumption you're experiencing is normal or if you are in need of a repair.
