Audi uses the erWin Portal for factory service information. This includes diagnostic troubleshooting guides as well as technical specifications. Our tooling allows us to interact with Audi vehicles and monitor the onboard systems so that we can verify the vehicle is operating as desired. If we notice any abnormalities, we can make the adjustments or repairs necessary to return the vehicle to "fresh-off-the-line" performance.
COMMON ISSUES
A common issue that affects Audi is leaking oil. Over time gaskets will harden because of their exposure to oil, mineral impurities, heat, and outside air. This hardening will create small gaps that allow oil (usually when pressurized) to travel through. Sometimes the oil leaking will coagulate into sludge which acts like a scab on the oil leak and prevents excess drainage. Water, heat, or vibration can dislodge this sludge which can cause an oil leak to suddenly become very urgent. You can trust Discovery Automotive to find and repair the source of your oil leak.
