GMC TOOLING
GMC uses the ACDelco Technical Delivery System for factory service information. This includes diagnostic troubleshooting guides as well as technical specifications. Our tooling allows us to interact with GMC vehicles and monitor the onboard systems so that we can verify the vehicle is operating as desired. If we notice any abnormalities, we can make the adjustments or repairs necessary to return the vehicle to "fresh-off-the-line" performance.
COMMON ISSUES
An unfortunate issue with newer full-size trucks is loud vibrations and noises when driving at speed. This is also referred to as “wind buffeting” and “body pressure booming” and seems to be caused by a myriad of issues. The most common sources are the bonding surfaces of the roof and the vibration frequencies of the engine. You shouldn’t have to live with any noise or annoyance.
